Electroplated diamond and CBN wheels usually have one layer of diamond or CBN held together by nickel bond also known as galvanic wheels. These wheels do not need to be trued or dressed. It is possible to produce electroplated wheels with very high precision, wheels can easily repeat the profile of application. Electroplated wheels do not change the profile. Basically any type of wheel shape can be covered with diamond or CBN when electroplating. Electroplated wheels are high efficient, have long tool life and are used in various industries such as wood, metal, gemstone, automotive and others. We can offer any type of electroplated product - wheels, pins, pivots, etc.

With this bond we can produce high precision profile wheels. Following customers drawings we can produce the necessary base to the requested wheel. Diamond and boron nitride wheels may be replated for as long as the body remains intact.

• Jig grinding: Mostly used in fined ceramics processing and precision grinding for quartz. Customized items are also provided to cater your needs. Common grit size is #80~#325.
• Touchscreen Processing: Drilling and chamfering for the glass panel of the smart phone and tablet computer. We could also combine different grit sizes in the same diamond mounted point.
• Grinding for Cutting tools: Normal end-mill grinder and drill grinder go with electroplated wheel. Carbide can be ground by diamond wheel and High Speed Steel could be ground by CBN wheel.
• Precision grinding: Electroplating can produce wheel of different shapes without deforming it. Therefore, it is suitable for precision grinding or rimming aluminum oxide wheel.
